Contemporary figure and wildlife bronze sculptures.

Vincent da Silva is a sculptor based in Cape Town, South Africa.

Initially, Vincent explored the cat as a subject and drew from the inherit movement and grace of the animal as well as developing an understanding of the anatomy of animals in general. This allowed an exploration of a variety of African wildlife and in 2012 Vincent took another stride with a range of horses. The artist aims to strip away the perception of the horse and echo the raw nature expressed in his wildlife works.

Following the success of the horses, Vincent then proceeded to develop a range of works in a variety of subjects. A recent accomplishment being a life sized white rhino which he solely sculpted over a three month period.

Vincent has since been exploring the more abstract personalities of art. He is challenging himself to attain an understanding of any subject and also aims to reveal an inner sense of what ever he sculpts.
